Bassist and vocalist for the legendary Les Paul for over 10 years, Nicki has appeared at most of the world’s top jazz venues and festivals to sold-out performances.
As a follow-up to her last recording, If You Could Read My Mind (Arbors 19482), Nicki digs deep into the 60s—an era of peace, love and discovery as told by a few of the finest songwriters of the time. Feelin’ Groovy represents a first-ever for Arbors Records in that it’s an all-Aussie band. This release happens to coincide with Nicki’s recent move to Australia. Slow Down, Chill Out... so fitting for the tracks presented here.
