Diego Figueiredo | I Love Samba

The amazing Diego Figueiredo continues to gather new listeners and new friends wherever he goes, and as audiences in more than sixty countries can attest, he is a traveling man. The delightful ‘I Love Samba’ follows Diego’s ‘My World’ from Arbors Records, which spent much of 2023 on the JazzWeek chart, ending up in the top 30 jazz albums in US airplay for the year...

As on that album, Diego is joined by the Dream Team rhythm section for Brazilian jazz, bassist Nilson Matta and drummer Duduka Da Fonseca.
   Diego says. “Here I want to explore more Brazilian rhythms and the sounds of the great traditional Brazilian guitarists, along with my special feeling and presentation.”
