"Keith's repertoire is as broad as his artistic vision. He told me, "This is a mixture of standards and jazz compositions, all except Devil's Island by jazz pianists, although I didn't realize it at the time." Keith's choices are varied but not esoteric, and his rhythmic engine is always humming along nicely, even on the slow ballads. Although his harmonic awareness is deep, he never abstracts a composition into a series of chord changes: "I like melodic music," he says.
